GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Technical Sales Administrator who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Purpose of this role

Providing administrative support across sales and tendering activities, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and working closely with the Regional Tendering Manager and wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient process from initial developer enquiries through to tender submission and sales performance reporting.
Responsible for maintaining accurate customer and project data, submitting Point of Connection (POC) requests to Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), and liaising with developers to gather the information required to produce accurate and competitive tenders. Ensures all systems and records are updated and maintained to a high standard, supporting effective decision-making and operational efficiency across the sales and tendering function.

Your key responsibilities are

Deliver a high standard of customer service by responding promptly and professionally to all enquiries, ensuring a consistent and positive experience from initial engagement through to post-sales support.

Support Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, developers, and house builders, while helping to identify and maximise sales opportunities.

Coordinate and manage project activity in line with agreed parameters, including submitting Point of Connection requests to Distribution Network Operators and liaising with Developers, monitoring progress, chasing updates, and ensuring timely follow-up throughout the sales and post-acceptance process.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM systems and internal databases, including lead management, data cleansing, project updates, and acceptance processing.

Generate and manage new business leads using data-driven insights, ensuring no duplication within the system and supporting ongoing lead nurturing activities.

Support the administration of new network acceptances via the QP portal, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and within agreed timescales.

Produce routine and ad hoc reports, ensuring data integrity and providing clear insights to support sales performance and decision-making.

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and company products and services to support informed and effective sales support.

Collaborate with internal teams to build strong working relationships, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and enhance overall processes and customer experience.

Provide flexible support across the wider Sales & Tendering team, maintaining high standards of professionalism and contributing to team objectives as required.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and sharing customer feedback.

Undertake any additional responsibilities as required by management in line with the needs of the business.

Qualifications

Grade C or above in English and Math GCSE or equivalent.

Experience/Knowledge

Knowledge of utilities industry, Microsoft IT Packages.

Abilities/Skills

Excellent communication skills, able to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.

Ability to manage own workload, plan effectively and make decisions independently.

Desirable

Technical Sales Administrator experience.

Conditions of Employment
