Power On, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Trainee Construction Engineer (PO) who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Purpose of this role

The individual will be tasked with a range of duties with a dual aim of assisting the regions Construction Engineers whilst also growing their own knowledge and experience. Formal training and qualifications will be provided where required along with in house training, both on and off site.

Your key responsibilities are

To assist in every aspect in the delivery of Contestable Connections for PO Ltd on time and within budget.

This will involve a wide range of activities, including office duties, transporting materials, construction site work and any other duties deemed appropriate.

Upon successful completion of training period, the individual will be able to be carryout the following responsibilities.

Maintain financial control of projects throughout using correct PO Ltd procedures.

To be fully conversant with all relevant PO Ltd business processes.

To always promote and demonstrate a culture of health safety & quality.

To always comply with the requirements of Power On Environmental Policy.

Any other duties as required by the manager.

Qualifications

Current CSCS card.

Experience/Knowledge

Experience working on development sites.

Knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Abilities/Skills

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Desirable

NRSWA certificate.

Individuals must have a professional attitude.

Knowledge/ experience of working in an electrical and/or relevant engineering arena.

Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent.

Conditions of Employment

You will hold a driving licence.
