GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Senior Authorised Person (EHV) who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Purpose of this role

Act as the Senior Authorised Person and undertake operational activities to safely run our network.

Your key responsibilities are

Senior Authorised up to 33kV.

Project management around operational activities.

Technical support to colleagues and customers as necessary.

Become a training and support contact for colleagues to support their personal development.

Maintain a helpful and informative work environment.

Support the business roll out for Network Monitoring.

Any other duties as required by the manager. 

Qualifications

HNC / Degree / Equivalent qualifications.

Thorough Distribution Network Knowledge.

Experience/Knowledge

Thorough knowledge of Distribution Safety Rules.

Working knowledge of a DNO network up to and including 33kV.

Clear level of understanding around Network protection.

Abilities/Skills

Experience of Project Management.

Ability to solve problems.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent

Desirable

Understanding of IDNO and DNO relationships.

Operational up to 132kV.

Automation knowledge.

Previous experience of training and development of colleagues.

Conditions of Employment

You will be required to participate in a standby rota.
You will hold a driving licence.
