We are looking for Project Manager - Asset Adoption who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
Purpose of this role
Responsible for ensuring Gas, Water, Electric and Fibre networks constructed by external partners are compliant and fit for adoption by BUUK.
Your key responsibilities are
Undertake daily work in progress / post construction inspections in line with company policies.
Work with external partners to co-ordinate installation / inspection of complex assets such as substations, pressure reduction installations, gas in flats and fibre cabinets.
Attend site meetings with external partners / developers to encourage best practice and establish relationships.
Work closely with external partners and their clients to identify construction defects on site and arrange timely closure of identified defects.
Assist with construction record / metering queries as required, including undertaking record recovery when needed.
Work collaboratively with other processes and areas within the asset adoption and the wider business.
Broaden and develop good knowledge of current and future BUUK product range.
Proactively contribute to safety and ensure hazards and near-misses are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
Support the timely resolution of customer enquiries and complaints.
Identify and address opportunities for process improvement and optimisation within the wider business.
Make a positive contribution to innovation across the department and wider business.
Any other duties as required by the asset adoption management team.
Experience/Knowledge
Working knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations relating to a minimum of one utility. (Gas, Electric, Fibre and Water Distribution Systems)
Abilities/Skills
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Desirable
EngTech membership with a Professional Engineering Institution.
Gas Safe – Limited Scope Metering.
Current CSCS card.
Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent.
