We are looking for Operations Support Officer who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
This is a fixed term contract until February 2027
Purpose of this role
Responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the operations team and ensuring that the organisation’s processes and systems run efficiently.
Your key responsibilities are
Manage all relevant operational integrity data to ensure design records are up to date.
Act as the escalation point to liaise with developers / stakeholders for corrective actions.
Analysing Operational needs and requirements.
Identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity Working with the operations teams.
Oversee system development and enhancement including creation of specifications.
Provide monthly reporting relating to maintenance or replacement of existing assets e.g.Water meters, flushing, sewer cleansing, pumping station maintenance.
Management of MOU agreement with Fire Authorities.
Manage the Fire Hydrant Adoption Process.
Manage the tracking of High Rise Building and create supporting BOPs (Building Owner Packs).
Any other duties as required by the manager.
Qualifications
SHEA Water.
National water Hygiene.
Experience/Knowledge
Experience working in the Water Industry.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety standard and policies.
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships at all levels with external and internal customers.
Abilities/Skills
Competent in all Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent.
Ability to read site plans and maps.
Attention to detail.
Positive and proactive attitude.
Desirable
Experience in mentoring others.
Knowledge of GIS or similar applications.
Knowledge of current safety procedures, business relationships, processes, and practices.
