Passiv, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Trainee Warehouse and Technical Support Operative who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
Purpose of this role
Supporting the warehouse office in the day-to-day tasks in the warehouse ensuring timely completion of customer orders and supporting customers with technical queries on the Support desk.
Your key responsibilities are
Based in both the warehouse and the office, this is a varied role with the following daily duties and responsibilities:
Work with the Warehouse Officer to ensure goods loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
Report any damaged or missing goods.
Assemble products with a high level of care and attention to ensure individual kits are clearly labelled and identifiable.
Liaise with Accounts for approval to ship all orders and pass delivery notes to them to help keep accurate financial records of goods in and out.
Follow workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
Keep the warehouse environment clean and tidy.
Work within the support team to provide ongoing support taking telephone calls to our growing customer base and work on customer cases/emails through to resolution.
Developing basic hand-on skills in electrical and plumbing through formal and informal training.
Keep accurate and up to date client records in the Operational Support Database.
Carry out ad-hoc tasks as needed to support general business projects, objectives and run reports for your line manager.
Abilities/Skills
Strong practical/hands-on aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Good foundation in maths/English (useful for electrical calculations and reading schematics).
Enthusiasm for developing technical trade skills (plumbing and electrical).
Organised, methodical, self-motivated and focused.
Adaptable to change and taking on new tasks.
Works well as part of a team and independently.
