GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Multi Utility Team Assistant who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
Purpose of this role
Installation of Gas, Water & Electrical Infrastructure (On and Off Site Works).
Covering the North West (Warrington, Liverpool, Manchester, Bolton, Preston)
Your key responsibilities are
Work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE that is supplied.
Install and commission gas, water and electrical infrastructure as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.
Accept delivery of plant and materials and check fitness for purpose prior to use.
Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager.
Identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the Project Manager and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure.
Work to site specific risk assessments completed by the Team Leader on a daily basis and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
Act as a Competent Person for ROs and NROs (if assessed as competent).
Attend Toolbox Talks and other training courses as required.
Record accurately details of work undertaken.
Submit relevant work details for recording and invoicing in the required timescale.
Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Project Manager that fall within the general experience scope of the individual.
Qualifications
GN01 for (minimum).
NRSWA certificate for operatives.
Water Hygiene.
DOMS (Water for Scotland).
Electrical Passport for Cable Laying.
SHEA Gas, Water & Elec.
Experience/Knowledge
Experience and/or qualifications as well as having a working knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations relating to all of the following utilities: Gas, Electric, Fibre and Water Distribution Systems.

Machine Excavation up to 10T.
Dumper.
Abrassive Wheels.
