GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Stores Custodian who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Purpose of this role

To support the award-winning Remote Storage Unit program, facilitating new storage locations for new teams, and maintaining stock control and standards for existing stores.

Your key responsibilities are

Ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.

Set up new storage units, following the provided layouts to ensure consistency across the country.

Support our key supply partner in initial stocking of the stores, accepting delivery and confirming against order.

Handing over new units to engineers and providing an overview of the processes for replenishment.

Supporting a rolling program of maintenance for existing stores.

Undertaking stock counts on a planned basis, or as necessitated by the business.

Supporting emergency restocking as might be necessary from time to time.

Any other duties as required by the manager.

Experience/Knowledge

Stores or stock control experience.

Abilities/Skills

Ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Outlook and Excel at a basic level.

Desirable

CSCS Card, or equivalent.

Conditions of Employment

You will hold a driving licence.
