GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Post Award Programme Lead who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
Purpose of this role
To provide technical administrative support for a dedicated GTC Region to work with the Senior Project Manager for the area to deliver all off site / post award programmes to the customer and ensure that all delivery dates are made / amended in line with the programme. Working closely with the SPM and the Nominated Designer to deliver a seamless post award product to the market.
Your key responsibilities are
Responsible for post award programme management for all new awards using approved programme templates and in compliance with company procedures.
Organise and attend internal post award meeting within 48 hours of acceptance of the new GTC project.
Maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
Organise and attend the external post award meeting within 1 week of customer acceptance including the Senior PM and Lead Designer for the project.
Prepare the draft programme for the off site / enabling and post award activities and issue to the customer within one week of the first post award meeting.
Organise and attend the follow up post award meetings with the customer as agreed / required to meet the project delivery dates.
Take note of all actions arising from the meetings and reflect them in the project programme.
Issue bi-weekly programme updates to the customer and internal project team.
Chase missing information from the customer or advise on delay to the programme.
Internal stakeholder management for the various utilities – make sure people are delivering on time for the project, chase and escalate where appropriate.
Weekly meetings with the internal Legal team to monitor progress on all legal transactions within your project portfolio.
Issue variations to the contract to the customer where applicable.
Liaise with Senior Project Manager to assist with contractual changes and to ensure all relevant information is updated real time.
Prepare the pricing or source the pricing of contractual variation orders and be responsible to assist the Senior Project Manager in customer liaison in matters where contractual change is identified.
Produce reports to management on progress of current projects.
Perform other ad hoc office duties which are classified as non-critical but can be achieved when time permits depending on the other activities, together with any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Line Manager or Senior Project Manager.
Qualifications
Educated to A Level or equivalent.
Experience/Knowledge
Able to demonstrate an understanding of customer’s needs and have experience in a customer focused role.
Experience working in a utility environment for construction and or design.
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Abilities/Skills
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and numerate.
Experience working in a client / customer facing environment.
Competent in all standard Microsoft Office applications.
Highly organised.
Able to manage workload and ensure deadlines are met.
Attention to detail.
Remains calm under pressure.
Proactive approach to work.
Desirable
Experience within the multi utility sector.
GIS Knowledge.
Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent, including Microsoft Project.
Resilient.
Ability to multi-task.
