We are looking for Credit Control Administrator who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
This is a part time role offering 18.75 hours per week spread over 5 days
Purpose of this role
The Credit Control Administrator provides essential support to the finance and credit control function by managing incoming customer communication and ensuring that payments received are accurately allocated within the company’s accounting system. The role helps maintain an up‑to‑date, accurate debtor ledger and contributes to strong customer account management.
Your key responsibilities are
Monitor and manage emails received into the credit control shared inbox.
Allocate incoming queries and documentation to the correct credit controllers.
Prioritise urgent requests, payment confirmations, and customer queries to ensure timely handling.
Maintain a tidy, well‑organised shared mailbox structure (folders, categorisation, routing rules).
Accurately allocate customer payments received in the accounting software (D365).
Ensure all cash receipts are posted in a timely manner to support up‑to‑date debtor reporting.
Liaising with Credit Controllers to distribute Dunning letters to customers.
Maintenance of the Land Planning Delay log.
Any other ad hoc administration required by the Credit Control Manager.
Experience/Knowledge
Sound working knowledge of MS products.
Abilities/Skills
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy shared inbox.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritise workload.
Desirable
Construction or Utilities sector experience.
Understanding of basic accounting principles.
