GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Building Safety Liaison Manager who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Purpose of this role

To work with person(s) responsible for building safety to ensure GTC can comply with its statutory and regulatory obligations for MOBs.

Your key responsibilities are

To facilitate the inspection and maintenance of MOBs to ensure GTC fulfils its obligations.

Act as a focal point for liaison between MOB stakeholders and GTC.

Build and maintain positive relations with all MOB stakeholders, eg, Principal/Accountable Persons, Residents, Managing Agents, Factors, Fire Authority, Contractor, and Developers.

Monitor the delivery of GTC MOB remedial works programme ensuring related processes (including timescales) ae followed and take appropriate actions.

Establish effective records management processes including recording and reporting to ensure all stakeholder communications is archived and readily available during the life cycle of a MOB.

Any other duties as required by the manager.

Qualifications

EngTech with a recognised Engineering Institution.

Experience and/or qualifications as well as having a working knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations.

Experience/Knowledge

Abilities/Skills

The ability to apply GTC and Industry Engineering, Building and Safety standard to work and influence others to ensure they are achieved.

Desirable

Currently hold the relevant SHEA card and CSCS registration.

IEng registration with a recognised Professional Engineering Institution, or actively working towards.

Management of work programmes over geographically diverse locations.

Conditions of Employment

You are required to have your criminal records checked through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). This is due to going into customers’ homes.
You will be required to participate in a standby rota.
You will hold a driving licence.
